Honored to Receive Multiple Awards Wins in American Package Design
SAN DIEGO—MiresBall was honored to accept multiple award wins in the annual American Package Design competition presented by Graphic Design USA, New York.
For the past five decades, the industry’s top creative professionals judge this national contest for packaging solutions. Criteria is weighted on the “power of design to advance the brand promise and forge an emotional connection with the buyer at the moment of truth.”
MiresBall received the packaging design excellence award for Ballast Point Brewing & Spirits’ brand refresh for its craft beer and spirits, and Shure, a global audio company, for their newest Americas wireless microphone packaging system.
“It’s very gratifying to be awarded by GDUSA. As retail shelves become increasingly crowded, packaging is becoming more than an extension of the brand; in some cases, it can be the sole connection that keeps consumers coming back for more,” explains partner and creative director Scott Mires.
