Entering its 20th year, award-winning, San Diego-based Coronado Brewing Company felt it was time for a brand refresh that would coincide with the introduction of canned beer to its product lineup. Embracing the craft brewery’s passion for family, friends and creating exceptional, approachable beer, our team went to work refreshing some of the brand’s most visible assets.
A new tagline, Stay Coastal, references Coronado Brewing’s rich history in the region, and the relaxed state of mind that resonates with both locals and fans worldwide. The Coronado mermaid, slightly updated, remains an iconic figure at the core of the brand. Other new elements include the logo, fonts, packaging hierarchy and color scheme.
Coronado Brewing will roll out the new identity and packaging over the next 16 months. Keep an eye out for cans in the Spring!
