Communication Arts magazine publishes the results of its 8th annual typography competition.
It is a significant honor to see the beer packaging for CoastWise recognized in this year’s competition.
Coronado Brewing Company, the craft beer brand known for its coastal mindset, teamed up with the Surfrider Foundation to market a new collaboration beer.
An illustrated Poseidon and playful lettering highlight the national foundation’s work to protect the oceans and beaches. With proceeds going to support the care of the coastline, the packaging made a big impact on the environment and on the shelf.
This year, a jury of distinguished creative professionals selected 132 winning projects from 1,750 entries. Selections were made on the basis of creative excellence and quality of execution.
With the largest international circulation of any trade journal in this space, more than 30,000 copies of the magazine will be distributed to subscribers and by sales through art stores, book stores and Amazon.
